Four-year-old James came into Family Resources with an Autism Spectrum diagnosis in our Therapeutic Preschool, helping prepare kids experiencing challenges for public school.
As we got to know James and his family, we realized they could benefit from our Family Based program, and offered them the service, providing support and counseling for the whole family.
Not long after, James's parents asked us about our BJWL centers, providing social and academic programming for kids during out-of-school times. We were able to connect their older daughter Jessica with services.
At Family Resources, we approach child abuse at all stages: Prevention, Intervention, and Treatment (PIT). Our PIT model allows us to meet families where they are and support them with multiple programs if appropriate.
#TogetherWeCan prevent and treat child abuse by strengthening families and neighborhoods - contribute to one of programs today.
